Splash Pad at Essentia Plaza at the Lights

With summer temperatures rising, Splash pads and pools are the perfect place for respite. That’s why we installed a small zero-elevation splash pad in West Fargo at Essentia Plaza at the Lights. It is located at the south end of the plaza in a blue splash pad zone. How do you turn on the splash pad at the Lights? There is a circular pad that needs to be touched by hand or foot.

This is a pool with two large waterslides and a zero-depth swim area that includes a large playground.

This pool is separated into three areas, handy for families with many small children or if you are taking a larger group to a Fargo pool. There is a diving area as well, however the kiddie pool is separated from the rest of the pools making it a bit safer if you are with a larger group.

When you find yourself downtown and need to beat the heat, press the blue button at the Broadway Square Spouts to be refreshed. The cycle runs over 5 minutes and then automatically turns off to save water.

This very kid-friendly splash pad is a local favorite with its variety of age-appropriate features. It is worth noting that there is a decent sized park close by as well as a covered seating area. A family could spend hours at this park.

Relax on deck or enjoy one of the three pools here. There are two wading pools perfect for families with kids.

6 Moorhead Wading Pools

Six neighborhood wading pools are offered for young visitors aged 10 and under. Adult supervision is required. You may bring small flotation devices and toys but keep in mind that there is no life guard on duty.
