Fargo’s next biggest attraction is taking another step forward

February 19, 2022

Fargo, ND -- What could be the next big thing when it comes to activities not only with residents here in Fargo, but also a possible major tourism destination is taking the next steps to be completed.

EPIC Companies has announced the after hiring Architect and Engineering firm EAPC, plans are beginning to take shape on Fargo's massive indoor water park.

"Myself and Mackenzie just took a trip down to Denver to talk with some of the folks we've been consulting with when it comes to the park," said EPIC Chief Executive Officer Amy Hass on WDAY Radio's Bonnie and Friends Thursday. "Now EAPC is set to get to work on designing what the park will look like beginning in March."

Hass says the park, which will be situated at the company's EOLA location just South of I-94 off 45th street south, will have a footprint of roughly 30 to 50,000 square feet. As for what's inside, that is yet to be determined.

"The folks we've talked to and consulted with know water," said Hass. "Plus the public survey we put out also has helped us get quite a few ideas. Folks just have to stay tuned for what's next."

Hass did say that different quirks in the building, like an arcade and even possible outdoor space use are being considered for the project. More information on what will go inside the park and structure is set to come sometime next month.
